Howard M. Forman

Howard has over thirty years of legal experience in a private practice setting. He is well known for representing individuals in the dissolution of their same-sex relationships, including litigation regarding their real and personal property rights. His extensive experience in estate planning includes litigating clients' inheritance rights in the Surrogate's Court and advises representatives and beneficiaries with respect to probate and estate administration. Howard represents clients in all types of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating their commercial leases and subleases, and advises them regarding the formation and operation of their businesses.

Community Service and Pro Bono Work

Howard has served on the Powsner Cooperberg Legacy Society Advisory Committee of The Lesbian Gay Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. He also provides pro bono legal services to The Lesbian Gay Bisexual & Transgender Community Center and Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc.
